Coconut oil is a go to for a lot of things in our house.  It’s fabulous for your skin, hair and teeth (oil pulling)!!  For a conditioning treatment massage a good amount into your hair and leave it for 30 mins.  Did you know that bananas are great for your hair too!

Apple cider vinegar restores shine just apply about tablespoon to scalp after shampooing. Apple cider vinegar has a ton of other health benefits too – It balances your inner ecosystem, clears acne and other skin problems, gets rid of headaches and flu and there’s many more!

DIY colour boosters cocoa powder for brunettes, lemon and chamomile or blondes, carrots and berries for redheads.

Alpha-lipoic acid protects your skin from free radical damage.  Ward of wrinkles and keep your skin youthful, grab some alpha-lipoic acid supplements.

Oat and apple cider vinegar exfoliator mask mix oats, water, apple cider vinegar and sea salt into a paste, apply it to your skin leave for about 5 minutes then gently massage and rinse off.

Cacao and avocado face mask Cacao is full of antioxidants not to mention it’s delicious!!  Mix a couple of heaped tablespoons of cacao powder with one ripe avocado and voila you have a face mask or a dessert you decide ;-).

Dark chocolate (at least 70 percent cacao) is full of antioxidants, can protect your skin from UV damage and improves skin hydration and smoothness.  Do we really need any excuses to eat chocolate!?

Detox hydrate and detox by blending coconut water with melon.

Wheatgrass grow some wheatgrass inside or out and take 2 oz of wheatgrass juice a day 🙂

Eat good fats chia seeds, coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil and avocado are all great fats for radiant skin.
